Language Courses
We are proud to offer language training for individuals or small groups in both Spanish and French. Courses are delivered by Kate Lakeland, a first class honours graduate in French and Hispanic Studies and fully qualified teacher with many years' language teaching experience.
Throw away the phrase book!
The positive impact of communicating with foreign language speakers in their own tongue cannot be overstated, particularly for native English speakers who have a reputation for assuming that "they all speak English anyway, don't they?"
Well, "they" by no means all speak English, and even if "they" do, "they" will still be impressed by and appreciative of your efforts to use the other language.
We believe in teaching structures, not just lists of vocabulary, so that you can use the language creatively and not rely on the proscribed sentences of the traditional phrase book. And whatever your previous experience of language learning, get ready - at Lakeland Training we know that it has to be fun to be memorable!
Our language courses are listed below. Please scroll down for more details.
